Project Description

Bassetts Island is located in Bourne, Massachusetts. The homes here are quite unusual because of the island’s remote setting.

The island is a roughly 60-acre wooded and marshy island with only a handful of private waterfront residences featuring expansive views of Pocasset Harbor and Red Brook Harbor. There are no public roads, no bridge access, and no utility services; residents reach the island by boat. Homes are designed for self-sufficiency, since the island lacks conventional utility infrastructure.
